Barrett v. Apple
No. 5:20-cv-04812-EJD
United States District Court for the Northern District of California
Case Summary
Consumers have accused Apple of not giving refunds related to a gift card scam carried out by fraudsters and trying to avoid responsibility for it. Apple, which didn't carry out the scams, insists it did nothing wrong and has several defenses against these claims. The proposed settlement to resolve the lawsuit doesn't mean Apple admits to any wrongdoing or that the allegations are true.
