Michael Thoren, et al. v. Alliance United Insurance Company, et al.,Case No. 37-2015-00020223-CU-BT-CTLSuperior Court of the State of California, County of San Diego
In this class action the plaintiffs allege that they paid in full for their policies but were still charged a renewal billing fee
This fee was not disclosed in the policy and when it came time for policy owners to renew not only did they have to pay the policy but also the $15 fee
The defendants deny the allegation but will settle to avoid a long litigious process.
