This class action settlement resolves claims that Altisource Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“Altisource”) violated a federal law that restricts automated calling to cellular telephones when it allegedly made calls to 56,104 cellular telephone numbers using automated calling equipment from October 16, 2013 through June 1, 2016. The calls allegedly were part of a “Cash for Relocation” program in which Altisource offered to pay people whose homes had foreclosed to move.
