Cipro Antibiotics Class Action Settlement (CA Only)
Class Eligibility: |
Cipro antibiotics purchased in California between 8/1/97 and 10/31/04. TO be eligible you need to have paid for at least some of the cost of the Cipro out of pocket (i.e. your health insurance did not pay for 100%), nor have a flat rate deductible. |
Estimated Amount: |
The settlement contains a $74,000,000 pool. We expect the majority of that will be claimed by insurance companies and employers, but we expect a significant payout for consumers. The settlement proposes a minimum $25 and up to 3 times the amount paid-out-of-pocket. |
Proof of Purchase: |
Not required. Higher payouts may be available to those with a proof of purchase (e.g. receipts, EOB, or pharmacy records) |
