Class Eligibility

You are a member of the settlement if you signed up for Gateway residential variable rate plan and paid Gateway variable rates for electricity and/or natural gas in any of the following eligible states and during the given class period.

Electricity:

New York: November 2012 to April 5, 2019
New Jersey: November 2012 to April 5, 2019
Pennsylvania: November 2012 to April 5, 2019
Virginia, Kentucky, & Ohio: N/A

Natural Gas:

New York: July 2011 to April 5, 2019
New Jersey: July 2011 to April 5, 2019
Pennsylvania: November 2012 to April 5, 2019
November 2015 to April 5, 2019
Virginia: November 2013 to April 5, 2019
Kentucky: July 2011 to April 5, 2019
Ohio: July 2011 to April 5, 2019

Estimated Amount

Class member’s actual payment will depend on their usage of Gateway service during the class period.

Calculations: $.00333 cash per kilowatt hour of electric supply received and/or $.02509 cash per therm for natural gas supply service received during the class period. The average cash benefit is $78.80 for each qualifying class member.
