Class Eligibility:

The settlement covers Kaz-manufactured heating pads purchased between October 13, 2006 and Janurary 7, 2013. The heating pads were sold under the Kaz, Softheat, SmartHeat, Dunlap, and 1-800-477-0457 brands.

Estimated Amount: The settlement amount depends on the number of claimants.

  • If there are less than 145,000 claims, each claimant receives $20.
  • If there are more than 145,000 claims but less than 270,000 claims, each claimant receives $10.
  • If there are more than 270,000 claims, each claimant will receive a share of the $2,700,000 fund.
