Class Eligibility

You are a Class Member of the Home Depot data breach settlement if:

  • You used your credit or debit card at a self-checkout lane in a U.S. Home Depot store between Apr. 10, 2014 and Sept. 13, 2014 and your payment card information was compromised;
  • You received notification that your email address was compromised as a result of the Home Depot data breach; or
  • You received a settlement notice by email informing you that you are a Class Member of the Home Depot settlement.

Estimated Amount

Varies

Up to $10,000 as reimbursement for documented losses related to the Home Depot data breach.

Home Depot has agreed to reimburse affected consumers for their documented losses related to the data breach, such as out-of-pocket losses, unreimbursed charges, or time spent remedying issues related to the Home Depot data breach.

Home Depot will also offer 18 months of free Identity Guard Essentials identity monitoring services to Class Members who used a credit or debit card at a self-checkout terminal in a Home Depot store between Apr. 10, 2014 and Sept. 13, 2014, and whose payment card information was compromised.

NOTE: Class Members may make a claim for both reimbursement and monitoring services.
